Gallery Wren, Sydney, 2003
This work arises out of an interest in capturing moments of everyday life with a camera. The images are of public walkways and the people that travel through them. The locations are quiet places, often devoid of crowds where lone individuals wander lost in thought. The locations are purpose built and only occupied for a brief time. They are transitory locations in our lives. Time is suspended, the air is still. These are the worlds we pass through. Snippets of everyday life forever paused.
