In the past 12 months blarter music has composed music for a number of television shows. This is an area we see ourselves moving into more & more over the next couple of years. Thankfully the examples below show a hint of what we are capable of, rather than just the potential we showed this time last year.

GREAT MOMENTS IN SCIENCE

Great Moments in Science is an animated series written and presented by Dr Karl Kruszelnicki, directed by Andrew Horne and produced by Deborah Szapiro for Freerange Animation. It's an educational series for school aged children, designed to instill a sense of wonder. It features episodes with stories such as the first man-made object in space ("Manhole Cover") and the story of US Airforce tests into G-Force which led to "Murphy's Law". The title pretty much sums it up.
The music for the opening titles had been composed by the time blarter music went a-knockin' on the Freerange
Animation door. We composed music for the end titles, various derivations, and period music for each of them. SPACE CADETS
| Space Cadets is TV1's Saturday night Science Fiction show. It consists of Sci-Fi Classics like Star Trek, Buck Rogers, Battlestar Galactica and Invaders, interspersed with Guest segments, News segments, Review segments & Quiz segments, hosted by Tim Ferguson. |

[V] MUSIC NEWS

Channel [V] is Foxtel's contemporary music channel. Earlier this year it began broadcasting a regular segment of music and entertainment news. blarter music composed and edited music for the opening with a couple of bumpers & stings. Below is a .mov and an mp3 of the opening titles.

ONE ON ONE
| One on One is a series of intimate interviews with the stars of the shows broadcast on TV1. They wanted the music to have touches of the opener and a chase scene from a spy movie. blarter music composed music to pictures for the opening and closing titles, as well as music to go under the interviews (with a turnaround of less than two days!).
