That's right blartermusic has scooped the pool at the Promax/BDA awards 2001. We were also nominated for "Best Music for a TV Station ID or Promo" at the Australian Guild of Screen Composers 2001 awards. We've been so busy doing our award winning work that we haven't updated this website for 18 months. Expect changes and a whole lotta boastin' on this site over the next few months. So much has happened in the past 18 months. The awards, the work that incurred them, becoming a PTY LTD company, the birth of a Big Bouncing Beautiful Beefy Baby Boy, lots of new toys and technical capabilities. Oh yes, we're in the mood to boast, so check back here around the end of April. Anyhow, back to the out of date site.........

blartermusic is Sydney's foremost creative music production company which specialises in composing, arranging and recording high quality, high memory music and sound design. For those of you who don't know, "Sound Design" is the wanky industry term for creating and blending sound effects, sometimes literal, sometimes abstract, to achieve a mood or ambience, or to enhance the effect of Movie or TV images.

blartermusic combines many years of audio engineering and "Sound Design" with many years of music composition and performance. The result is an award winning blend of... why don't you look just at some examples from the links on the left. They say it so much more eloquenlty.

Most of our work is radio and television commercials & station I.D's. During the past twelve months however, we have begun working on longer projects (i.e. Television Shows). We have also completed soundtracks for a number of short films including "THEY" & "THE DATE", and are in the middle of a contract to compose record and produce 50 music beds for VAL MORGAN CINEMA ADVERTISING (see the link on the left for examples & more info).

In this age of multi-tasking, we also provide many other sound and technology related services including voice over recording, multi media and internet audio production.
