Classes - Novice

This is a Beginners Class, for anybody who is learning to drive, or those who have not driven under race conditions, It gives you an opportunity to drive with other people in a race, learn how to setup your car to get the best out of it, Also don't be frightened to ask questions from other racers about problems you might have eg. battery charging, suspension tuning, cleaning motors ect. Any 1/10th electric or gas off-road car/truck is suitable, 2wdrives, 4wdrives, trucks, tamyia, old, new . It is advisable to use a basic stock motor first, like the ones generally supplied with Tamyia kits, putting a 11 turn modified in your car might look impressive driving up and down your driveway, but on a dirt track the marshalls will be scraping you off the walls on every turn and your battery probably will not last the race.
