Prologue to 'The Real Mrs. Miniver'
The book was chosen as "Book of the Week" by BBC Radio. Fifteen-minute extracts were read at 9.45 every morning on BBC Radio 4 FM, from Monday 19th until Friday 23rd November 2001; and each one repeated on FM and Long Wave at half-past midnight. 'The Times' bought the serial rights and opted to publish two extracts, on Saturday 3rd and Monday 5th November, 2001.
