7th. Lord Sudeley The Sudeleys - Lords of Toddington

Merlin Charles Sainthill Hanbury-Tracy, 7th Baron Sudeley of Toddington was born on 17 June 1939. He married Lady Elizabeth Mairi Keppel, daughter of Derek William Charles Keppel, Viscount Bury and Mairi Elizabeth Vane-Tempest-Stewart, on 18 January 1980. He and Lady Elizabeth Mairi Keppel were divorced in 1988.

Lord Sudeley writes:

"Through the kindness of the Manorial Society of Great Britain we have been able to secure an excellent publication of a book about our family, in which the rich history of the Tracy family of Toddington, Gloucestershire, is brought vividly to life. Many of the chapters of the book are the subject of papers given at a conference held at Toddington in 1985. The book, therefore, is a fine balance of the erudite and the anecdotal, covering our period from Charlemagne, through the Middle Ages, The Tudors and Stuarts, to the reign of Queen Victoria. The book is available from The Manorial Society of Great Britain. Telephone, e-mail or fax for further details."
