The Band

Joe has surrounded himself from day one with great musicians who have recorded and toured with him as a part of his band. Here we take a look at his current line up.

Dave LaRue

An accomplished solo artist in his own right, Dave LaRue is the newest guy on the block in the Satriani camp. He is the retro Reebok loving bass master who has found his way into the crazy, crazy world of Joe's via the Dixie Dregs, The Steve Morse Band and John Petrucci (he played bass for John during the 2005 G3 Tour and can be seen with John on the Live in Tokyo DVD). Dave is a fantastic Bass player.

Galen Henson

Starting on the guitar at the age of 11, Galen has been working heavily for numerous Nashville acts such as Vince Gill and Reba McEntire. Most recently Galen has worked for Joe, Steve Vai and Dream Theatre. Adding Production manager duties on Engines of Creation in 2000, Joe asked Galen to go out on the road for the Strange Beautiful Music and G3 tours as rhythm guitar player.

Jeff "Cappuccino" Campitelli

There isn't often a time when Jeff is not found joking around in the Satriani camp, from his continued clowning for any and all cameras, to his Jar of hot water used to warm up his hands before playing, to his true love of a good cappuccino, Jeff isn't far from a good laugh!

Jeff has been in the Satriani camp since Joe's time in a band called 'The Squares' in the early 1980's. From his 'falling down the stairs while keeping the beat' approach to the drumming of Satch Boogie to his continued dedication to touring with Joe throughout the years, Jeff is the ultimate Professional!

Did I mention Jeff Campitelli ROCKS!!!!???
