GET FAIR DINKUM ON HILALY
According to the islamicsydney.com website, the Australian National Imams Council in early 2007 are having a general conference in order to discuss and approve, amongst other things, the position of Mufti of Australia, a post currently held by Hilaly.
The website has previously said "It is widely expected that the role of Mufti would be replaced by a Board of Imams structure in the future. Sheikh Al-Hilay, should he choose, would be expected to contribute an important role on any future Board of Imams because of his standing in the community and unmatched Islamic knowledge".
The conference will be a good test of whether Australian muslim leaders are fair dinkum in their condemnation of Hilaly, who is also, of course, the man the Labor allowed into the country to be their numbers man in Blaxland.
The Imams should dump Hilaly completely.
One Nation awaits the result of the conference with interest.
